Fatherhood Initiative Many of the young women in our waiting room are not alone. Often the potential father is with her experiencing similar feelings of fear, anxiety and excitement. We make every effort to relate to the young men and their feelings, but it's not always easy. We need men to be counselors, to be mentors and to be present when these young men see their little ones on the ultra-sound machine for the first time. We need men to be role models and provide encouragement to young men who are scared at the mere idea of fatherhood. We need men....we need YOU!
