AA Pregnancy Help Center (now known as Assurance) opened its doors in 1985. How many children have been saved through the work of Assurance? Since 1985, Assurance has saved the lives of 1,800 children because their mothers found our Center instead of an abortion clinic. Where does the money come from to support Assurance and Women for Life? Support in the form of tax-deductible monetary donations, in-kind donations and volunteerism comes from individuals, businesses and churches of all denominations. We also conduct annual fundraisers such as Baby Bottle Blessings, the Share the Vision Banquet and our oldest fundraising tradition, the Love Walk. Are clients of Assurance ever charged for the services they receive? Unlike abortion clinics or organizations such as Planned Parenthood, pregnancy help centers never charge their clients any money.
